Bronchial asthma is a persistent lung illness that is noticeable by traits such as breathing problems, wheezing, shortness of breathing, and chest rigidity. Asthma has a tendency to happen with people who are environmentally predisposed to the situation.
Some of the triggers that may start or make an attack worse includes exposure to allergens, viral respiratory infections, airway irritants, exercise, and exposure to things such as dust mites or cockroaches.
You can prevent asthma attacks by doing the following: 1. Bathe your pets weekly. 2. Do not smoke or permit smoking in your home. 3. When mold or pollen counts are high, you should stay inside with air conditioning. 4. Wash your bedding and any stuffed toys at least once per week in hot water. 5. Wash your hands every chance you get. 6. Get a flu shot. 7. Wear a scarf over your mouth and nose in the winter months or cold weather. 8. Be proactive and know your triggers and how you should avoid them.
Right now, you understand much more regarding asthma, you might be questioning exactly where exercise matches. Since many doctors will educate you, that you should not quit on sports or exercise in any way. You simply need to be wise about how exactly you perform and take special safety measures to prevent attacks.
Practically all doctors approve that the simplest way to stop attacks at the time of exercise is to hold your inhaler and medication within reach. You must never use the inhaler in excess of 3 times during a game or exercise session. In case you are up the previous night with coughing and wheezing, it's always best to go light with your exercise the next day.
For something known as IEA (Exercise Induced Asthma), the symptoms are somewhat different, in the fact they appear after 6 - 10 minutes of exercise and will often be worse in cold or dry air.
When you have IEA, there are numerous activities you could enjoy for instance swimming, walking, biking, downhill skiing, and team based sports. There are several activities for you to pick from, to make certain you get the workout you need as well.
Bear in mind that the problem of asthma is not "all in your head", it is a real physiological treatment that will need treatment to avoid and treat. Although your doctor will be your best friend in treating asthma, you are the one who can prevent your symptoms.
Continuously be wise, consider your medication, and be proactive. Don't allow it place you in a life of agony - as you are able to appreciate exercise exactly like everybody else.

Full time daycare or send to grandma's: Full time infant care in our area is over $1400/month. Doing such, we would be living paycheck to paycheck, none left over for savings/emergencies. Widowed Mother in law who lives in our neighborhood(kindly and generously) offered to babysit our soon to be infant, full time for us (she already watches her other grandaughter full time as well). Here are the problems with this arrangement however: 1)mother in law would not respect my wishes on how to do things (i have witnessed first hand, the drama that goes on between her and her daughter, regarding the granddaughter she is currently caring for during the day). 2)Mother in law is the worlds worst driver. Even if husband and I dropped off/picked up baby every day, we could definately not ban her to staying home each day confined to the house or whats in 'walking distance'. 3)I will be on mother in law overload. Seeing mother in law 5 days/week plus weekends (our family gets together alot), would be really tough on me as she in general causes me anxiety. So, ladies, what would YOU do. Would you suffer financially, and have peace of mind (which is what we would have to do if we didnt live near to mother in law anyway)...or would you have a little more money in your pocket and go OUT of your mind with nerves and stress on a daily basis for the next few years. Husband thinks this arrangement is a 'no brainer' and is very firm on his stance. I also checked into doing a sort of half week with mother in law half time in daycare option, but the cost is not much less, so at that point why not just pay full time and save myself the anxiety. Please share your thoughts!! :) Thanks

LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) ? The Nigerian airline involved in a June crash that killed at least 163 people resumed domestic flights Thursday, even though officials acknowledge they still don't know what brought the aircraft down and that the families of the dead still haven't received insurance settlements.
Government authorities cleared Dana Air to again fly the same type of planes involved in the crash, despite public outrage over the disaster in a nation with a long history of airplane tragedies. Meanwhile, passengers still nervously board flights, even though the country's aviation industry remains mired in financial problems and is governed by lax oversight.
Smiling staffers stood Thursday at empty check-in and ticket counters at a domestic wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, as only a few passengers paid for seats on its 4:20 p.m. flight Thursday to Nigeria's capital, Abuja. The private airline planned to have a flight Friday morning carrying local celebrities, government officials and journalists to the capital and back as a sign that the carrier was again open for business, said Tony Usidamen, a Dana spokesman.
The carrier was offering tickets as cheap as 14,400 naira ($90) one-way to the capital, about half the price of its competitors, as a means of luring back passengers. However, Usidamen said the carrier planned a limited flight schedule for the coming weeks and acknowledged it would be a while before its flights were full again.
"It's going to take time to publicize the resumption of flights and to regain the public's confidence," the spokesman told The Associated Press.
On June 3, a Dana Air MD-83 twin-engine jet crashed in a crowded neighborhood on the outskirts of Lagos, killing all 153 people onboard and at least 10 on the ground, authorities have said. The pilots told air traffic controllers that the plane lost power to both engines just before the crash. The reason for the power loss remains unclear. Crash investigators in Nigeria have said the flight data recorder on the plane melted in the ensuing fire.
Dana will fly its remaining stock of five MD-83s, airplanes built by McDonnell Douglas, which was later bought by Boeing Co. The aircraft series is a mainstay of airlines around the world, with a large number still flown by American Airlines, owned by AMR Corp. Joe Obi, a spokesman for Nigeria's Aviation Minister Stella Oduah, pointed to that when asked if authorities had any concerns about Dana continuing to fly that model.
"Until we are sure what caused the crash, we can't make a decision on the MD-83," Obi told the AP.
Federal officials have given Dana Air a two-month window to complete insurance payments to the bereaved, Obi said. That could prove difficult, as Usidamen said the airline's insurers have made full payments to only five families of victims so far. Usidamen blamed the delays on families not getting needed documents from probate courts.
Nigeria has suffered a series of plane crashes over the last decades, with authorities never offering clear explanations for why the disasters happened. Obi said Nigeria's government planned to immediately publicize the cause of the Dana crash as soon as it knew, but the government has previously declined to publish the causes of other crashes.
Other airlines in Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation, have collapsed or faced dire financial straits over the last year.
Air Nigeria, the nation's second-largest carrier, collapsed in September amid allegations of financial mismanagement. Arik Air Ltd., the country's largest and perceived safest carrier, recently halted domestic flights after its management alleged Oduah had a financial interest in seeing the airline fail. The carrier later resumed its flights, but raised its prices as authorities halted other smaller carriers from flying due to financial and safety issues.
Air travel, despite its perils, represents the quickest way for those who can afford it to travel across Nigeria, a nation twice the size of California and with decrepit and dangerous roads. However, experts say Nigerian aviation authorities remain overworked and safety regulations are laxly enforced in a nation where bribery is an epidemic.
The Dana Air crash represented the worst airline disaster in the country since Sept. 27, 1992, when a military transport plane crashed into a swamp shortly after takeoff from Lagos and killed all 163 people onboard. The worst air disaster in Nigeria happened in 1973, when a Jordanian Boeing 707 crashed at Nigeria's Kano international airport and killed 176 people.

The Great Workout begun in 2008 grinds on, and resolution of large numbers of underwater mortgages continues to be controversial.? Deleterious effects of underwater mortgages and mass-foreclosure on communities where they are concentrated has been widely reported, and the efficacy of private, loan-by-loan bankruptcy, foreclosure and workout solutions has been criticized, yet no consensus has emerged around a large-scale restructuring solution.? Dissatisfaction with the pace of addressing this problem has led to proposals out of academia and in particular communities to use eminent domain to seize and restructure these mortgages.? But can the power of eminent domain be exercised to seize, not a physical property, but a financial instrument?
The most prominent proponent of using eminent domain to restructure underwater mortgages is Professor Robert C. Hockett of Cornell University, who has proposed using eminent domain to purchase and restructure these loans in an article detailing one such proposal for San Bernardino County in California.? You can see a commentary on his proposal by Yale economist Robert J. Schiller in The New York Times here.? Proposals such as Professor Hockett?s involve condemnation and purchase of the mortgage loans themselves, but not the houses that secure them, by municipalities, either on their own or in partnership with private investors or other municipalities.? The owner of the condemned mortgage receives ?just compensation? for the mortgage, but loses its ownership interest.? The mortgage is then written down to a level where the homeowner can pay it off with a refinanced loan, or written down and held by the municipality.?San Bernardino County, joining with several other cities, has created a Joint Powers Authority to investigate, oversee and implement such a program.? Chicago also has considered such a use of eminent domain.
The legal justifications offered for these proposals do not include any particularly special application of eminent domain.? Professor Hockett?s article provides an overview of eminent domain and its application to government seizures of properties other than land, with some authority dating to 1625.? Eminent domain is a government?s right to use, or even alienate or destroy, private property for the public good, so long as the government offers just compensation to the owner.? Its application is not limited to particular forms of property, and, in our federal system, this power may be applied by either the federal government, the states, or, if the power is delegated by the states, by municipalities.? Professor Hockett argues that, given the substantial negative effects on localities of large numbers of homeowners being obligated on underwater mortgages, the exercise of eminent domain by municipalities is a valid exercise of municipal police power.? Given that, through the securitized mortgage market, debt holders nationwide may hold ownership interests in mortgages a municipality seeks to condemn, however, one might question whether states and municipalities have jurisdiction to exercise that police power against out of state entities to condemn property rights and whether such a power should be exercisable by the federal government only.? Professor Hockett argues that established doctrines of due process and jurisdiction have long provided mechanisms for states to exercise jurisdiction over mortgage debts.? The arguments for and against the constitutional validity of such a use of eminent domain are beyond the scope of this entry, however.
One can think of numerous disturbing applications for an eminent domain power to condemn forms of property other than real property.? While the just compensation requirement will check many abuses, there is also bound to be tremendous political resistance to resolving public problems through the use of this extraordinary power.? In fact, just this sort of resistance has emerged in response to these proposals.? A bill pending in the House of Representatives would penalize municipalities exercising a power of eminent domain to condemn mortgages by forbidding certain government and government-sponsored entities from purchasing, insuring and guaranteeing mortgages in municipalities that have used the power.? Last year, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, the overseer for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, solicited comments (which you can see here) on how to address proposals to use eminent domain to condemn mortgages, citing, among other concerns, constitutional, consumer protection, valuation, credit market and implementation concerns.? Moreover, the financial services industry has the ability to choose not to lend money in localities with laws or practices judged to increase credit risk, and, industry groups, such as SIFMA, have been active in opposing eminent domain proposals.
All of these actions have the potential to lessen access to credit for new buyers in these markets, make refinancing harder, depress prices, and therefore inflict exactly the kinds of damage that the condemnation programs are trying to fix.? It remains to be seen whether municipalities will decide that local economic damage from underwater mortgages, or from a drip, drip, drip of residential foreclosures is severe enough to proceed in the face of these pressures, as well as any litigation challenging these uses of eminent domain.? Similarly, a municipal threat of using eminent domain may speed the response by other actors to address underwater mortgages in particular localities, either through speedier foreclosures or loan restructuring, allowing the issue to discretely slip away.

NEW DELHI: An Indian man shouts slogans during a protest to mourn the death of the gang-rape victim yesterday. ? AP
NEW DELHI: Indian police arrested a man yesterday as he tried to plant a crude bomb near the home of one of the suspects in the New Delhi gang-rape case as a backlash against widespread sex crimes gathered steam. As protests against harassment and violence against women continued, a chart-topping Indian rapper known for his sexually explicit lyrics also became embroiled in a growing campaign against sexism and misogyny in Indian society.
Yo Yo Honey Singh, whose hits include ?My home my village?, saw his New Year?s Eve concert in New Delhi cancelled following an online campaign which highlighted lyrics allegedly inciting abuse of women. His 2007 track ?Prostitute? refers to him having violent sex with a woman after he forces her to ?dance naked? and includes the line: ?You will scream and run but where can you go? I will take your life?.
The furore over the rap star comes as the country comes to terms with the December 16 gang-rape in which a 23- year-old medical student was repeatedly assaulted and violated with an iron bar while being driven around in a bus for 40 minutes. She died from internal injuries in a Singapore hospital at the weekend and her ashes were immersed Tuesday in the holy Ganges river by her family near their native village in northern Uttar Pradesh state.
The unnamed girl, whose parents had sold land to fund her studies, had been out to the cinema with her boyfriend when she was lured onto the bus by a gang of reportedly drunk joyriders. Sexual violence and gang-rapes are commonplace in India, but the case has brought simmering anger ? particularly among young urban women ? to the boil and led to protests in the capital and calls for the death penalty for rapists. Police said they had arrested a 37-year-old man yesterday in the narrow by-lanes of a slum in southwest Delhi after he allegedly tried to plant a crude bomb near the house of one of six suspects detained by police for the Delhi rape. The low-grade device was filled with explosives usually used in firecrackers, a police official told AFP.
Protests in India, which continued on Monday and on New Year?s Eve, have also spilled to other parts of the world with people taking to the streets in Hong Kong, Islamabad, London and Kathmandu. Yesterday, about 30 women?s rights activists protested outside the Indian consulate in Hong Kong, urging authorities to enact tougher laws to punish sex crimes.
The government, which has faced a wave of anger, has set up a panel headed by a former chief justice to recommend changes to the criminal law dealing with sexual crimes. The panel, which was set up last week, had already received more than 17,000 suggestions until Monday, The Indian Express newspaper reported. Also yesterday, the Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde said the six suspects for the gang-rape risked the death penalty if found guilty and the case against them appeared very strong. ?We have a solid case with very good evidence? a magistrate has recorded the victim?s dying declaration and we have a prime witness, the girl?s friend, who has identified the rapists,? Shinde told The Economic Times newspaper.
The victim?s boyfriend, whom friends said she intended to marry, tried to prevent the rape and is likely to give crucial evidence during what is expected to be a fast-tracked trial. ? AFP

Visiting Rajasthan happens to be one of the top 5 most visited tourist routes in all of India?according to the World Travel & Tourism Council. Many travelers don?t realize how large India is and how its considered not just a country, but a subcontinent.
When I recently visited the World Travel Market in London every section was organized by continent with India having an entire section to themselves.
There are a massive number of cultures and people from very different walks of life that were united in what we now know as India under British rule.
India is commonly described as a land of contrasts for that very reason.
The original reason I came to India was to see if I could open a day trading center in the country as part as my ongoing effort to teach people financial and location?independence?with my Congressive day trading strategy?at The Day Trading Academy. ?So many people have been doing so well that I have been overwhelmed with training and had an original vision to train people in India.
This would allow people in India the opportunity to make more money in a day than most people make in an entire month, especially in India.
Rajasthan on a map of India
So far there have been positives and negatives while exploring the viability of a trading center in Mumbai, Goa, and at last, New Delhi. ?Being that I always take the end of the year off since the stock market typically has very low volume I decided to look into the possibility of visiting Rajasthan, the land of the kings.
What I decided on was a customized 15/16 day trip through the region with a personal driver. ?I would be visited the following cities below:
Half of my Rajasthan trip is actually almost over and I have seen some incredible things so far, everything from a Rajasthani Romeo to 4 men getting cozy on a motorcycle.
Many people are now asking me how much time they should spend in India and if you don?t have at least three weeks to explore part of the country I would recommend not even coming at all.
When visiting Rajasthan & the rest of India I realized that many people don?t realize how rough traveling to India actually is. ?Most of my life I have been living overseas?in what most people would consider ?third world countries?. ?India is in a whole different league. ?Between deficiencies in infrastructure and the?bureaucracy things take forever to get done in India.
Visiting Rajasthan Itinerary courtesy of google maps
I can now attest to the fact that you haven?t traveled to a third world country until you come to India.
The way business is done and the mentality of the people here really has shed a bright light on the prospects of not only opening a day trading center here, but also my prospects for investing overseas in India.
I suspect that visiting Rajasthan won?t be my last trip here in India either. ?The sheer scale of the country and the things to see are mind boggling, it would take a minimum of 6 months just to see the highlights in the entire country.
Once I complete this current trip I will return to New Delhi to complete some much needed work & then embark on the next adventure, Agra & the Taj Mahal, Varanasi which is the?spiritual?home of India, and a few cities in between.
I think many people often neglect the things to do in New Delhi and tourists don?t realize the history that is found in the old capital of the?Mughal Empire (New Delhi). ?The Mughals were the controlling force on the subcontinent of India & Pakistan for much of the 16th & 17th centuries (through early 18th century).
Shah Jahan, the man that commissioned the building of the Taj Mahal, reigned during this time.
There are a few things that I have learned about visiting India?for the first time that you should know if you haven?t been. Firstly, you are either going to travel first class or cheap backpacker style, there is no in-between. ?Secondly, it pays to plan your trip well in advance or book everything through a travel agent if you want things to go (more) smoothly.
India is one of the largest?bureaucracies?in the world so it takes 10 times longer to get things done and if you think there is a way to travel that isn?t first class or cheap backpacker style you are highly mistaken. I have tried it several times to no availability and have had to choose the one that is more comfortable.
