Chinese game developer, ChangYou launched Gamiction.com, an online gaming portal yesterday in India. This portal is designed to allow mid-range as well as hardcore gamers to access free-to-play MMORPGS through their browser itself.

The first game to be available via this service will be an MMORPG called Rising Saga that will allow players to explore a fantasy themed game world as well as indulge in a bit of PVP (player vs. player) action with their friends. DD Tank, an online turn based multiplayer shooter is expected to hit this service soon.

Here?s what Rahul Srivastava, Indian marketing head of ChangYou had to say on this launch, ?With the launch of our premier browser game, we aim to present an engaging experience to the entire gaming audience in India. As we move forward we will explore more games thus enabling us to tap varied audiences all over the Indian Sub-continent.?
